Michelle Lea Cole is an American author and motivational speaker. The second of four children, she was born on March 9, 1970, in San Angelo, Texas, to Lamar and Lillie Cole. Michelle has been writing since she was a young girl. Writing has always come naturally for her. Michelle writes about a variety

of topics. In addition to writing books, she also writes poems and songs. Michelle's writings usually empowers, enlightens, and entertains. Her work is often thought-provoking. The huge and serious problem of domestic violence and child abuse inspired Michelle to write her first book, "Lilla Belle the First Stages." Critics and readers have deemed it, a must read, for parents. Michelle is a victims' advocate for domestic violence, child abuse, and cancer. In her spare time, she loves reading, going to parks, going to the movies, and music. One of her favorite mottos is: "It's not what we get in life, it's what we give, that counts most." The person she most admires, is her mother, Lillie Cole.
